Dextr AI raises $6.7M to scale its AI workforce for hospitality

Dextr AI, a joint venture between its founding team and KeyValue, has raised $6.7 million in seed funding to scale its AI workforce for hospitality. The round was led by Elevation Capital, with participation from Foundation Capital.

Dextr is addressing one of hospitality's longstanding challenges: rising labor costs and the significant amount of time employees spend operating software instead of serving guests. The funding will support Dextr AI as it expands its team, develops its product suite, and scales across hospitality markets globally.

Building an AI workforce for hospitality

Dextr AI is building specialized AI agents across reservations, guest management, housekeeping, workforce operations, sales, and revenue growth.

Its AI workforce includes Daisy for voice reservations and bookings, Alfred for guest communication and service, and Manny for housekeeping and staff operations. The platform integrates with existing hospitality systems, allowing hotels and other operators to automate workflows without adding another layer of manual work.

Customers have reported 49x ROI, with $80K in incremental revenue in 60 days, an 8% EBITDA lift at a six-property group with 1,200 labor hours removed, $120K saved a year at a destination resort with guest satisfaction holding at 92%, and a 0.4-point lift in average OTA rating within 90 days.

A milestone for Dextr AI and KeyValue

From the outset, KeyValue has worked closely with Dextr’s founding team to build a new operating model for hospitality with AI. Together, we have developed the product from the ground up around the industry's real operational challenges, from reservations and guest service to housekeeping and back-office workflows.

As hospitality businesses rethink their cost structures and operating models, Dextr AI is building the AI operating system behind that shift. This fundraise marks an important step forward, with KeyValue continuing to support its product and engineering journey.
